The Golden Bears will be playing their first "home" game against Greater Atlanta Christian. Kickoff is at 7:30 PM at Riverwood High School on Friday, September 10. Remember to bring your Balanced Excellence Card to get in free to the game! Friday night we will be testing an audio broadcast of the game via the internet. The future plans are to video broadcast live once Riverwood has full speed internet access in their press box. To access the audio broadcast go to "LINKS OF INTEREST".
Shuttle Buses For Saturday Football Game
Shuttle buses will run from the HIES Fine Arts Building to the varsity football game on Saturday, September 25 at Riverwood High School. Bus service starts at 6:30 p.m. and runs continuously - even during the game - until everyone has cleared the stadium.Please take advantage of this service if you're planning to attend. Parking at Riverwood HS is very limited. Kickoff is at 7:30 PM against Pinecrest Academy.
Come Early To Participate In The "Bear Walk"
Please help continue the “Bear Walk” tradition as spectators will line up between 7:10-7:15 pm to help the team take the field. A huge thank you to all that participated in the Bear Walk at the Riverwood game a few weeks ago!
Score Big For Childhood Cancer Research
At Friday night's football game, HIES families will be collecting money for 4 Quarters 4 Research, an event sponsored by the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research.
