Safety/Security Reminder
Safety/Security Reminder
With the extended laptop program this school year, we have taken some extra security precautions on campus for these tempting treats, but we would also like to remind you to take care when traveling around town with these gems in your cars.

Especially in times of economic stress, people look for easy targets and the opportunity for some quick cash. Valuables in your car become prime targets. People with less than honorable intentions will usually pass on vehicles if they don’t see anything in plain view to steal.

If you have items such as laptops, iPods, cell phones, GPS devices, cameras, purses and cash in your car, remember to either remove or hide them (your trunk is a good place to hide these items). Shopping centers, parking lots and even your own driveway are potential target areas. Please make every effort to safeguard your valuables.
