Movie Night began with a delicious picnic dinner catered by Chick-fil-a and A Royal Affair. A little bit of rain gave Pre-School and Lower School families the opportunity to "hang out" and eat dinner in the Middle School Commons – a big treat for the kids! The rain was short lived and everyone was out and about enjoying campus on a weekend night.
A group of fifth-graders helped promote our "As Good as Gold" cookbook by mingling about the crowd offering samples of tasty delights from the cookbook. Their cute announcement at intermission is sure to raise awareness and enthusiasm for our fantastic cookbook.
Anticipation was building to see who would be the lucky winner of the giant, stuffed "Higby" this year. And the winner was...Boden Brindell! Boden did our first ever Movie Night promotion in the Lower School morning announcements. He did a terrific job generating excitement for Movie Night with his announcement, and we were thrilled that he won Higby!
We are so grateful to Amber Scott, Movie Night Chair, for presenting an evening full of fun and wonderful HIES family memories.
