| The work of Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School is steeped in the graceful spirit of the Episcopal Church belief statement, which describes a “God of creation, redemption and constant presence and love.” The school’s strategic plan and teaching philosophies reference the National Association of Episcopal Schools’ publication, The Idea of an Episcopal School, which states: “Love for students, for their value as children of God, for their unique gifts, must under gird everything we do. We must act out of love, teach love, model love and love one another in our community above all else, or all else will be meaningless.” These statements are revealed at HIES by seeking to foster in our students a deeper understanding for, and a more intimate connection to, the depth and variety of the human community. |
