The arts are vital to a young person’s intellectual and emotional development, providing outlets for self-expression and important avenues for self-esteem. The Fine Arts Alliance is dedicated to the promotion and enhancement of all Holy Innocents’ Fine Arts programs.

    • Through Balanced Excellence dues, our annual fundraisers and thousands of volunteer hours, we provide valuable support to our school’s marvelous chorus, band, orchestra, drama, and visual arts programs.
    • Parent volunteers assist in many areas including receptions, concessions, box office sales, Christmas tree decorating and costume coordination, to name a few.
    • We hosted "A Heart for the Arts – 50 Never Looked so Good" Art and Fashion Show, on January 29 at the Biltmore's Georgian Ballroom. This biannual event showcased the extraordinary talents of artists in the HIES community and across Georgia, and raised significant funds for arts programs at Holy Innocents'.
    • This year we are excited to join the Parent’s Association, for our new fundraiser, The Jingle Bell Jubilee. The JBJ is going to be a Christmas show and market highlighting specialty trees and much more for the whole family to enjoy.
    • In 2009 – 2010 our funds provided new sound equipment for the Fine Arts Building. We are looking forward to showcasing the completed project of our fundraising for the past two years. We have a new digital soundboard, flat screen TV for the lobby, brand new projector and screen, all new speakers, wireless headset microphones, hearing impaired devices, and lots of other behind the scenes technology capable of enhancing the sound quality of Fine Arts Building
    • We also published a cookbook, As Good as Gold – Celebrating 50 years of Food and Family, to commemorate Holy Innocents’ 50th anniversary. Purchase your copy by clicking HERE.
    • With your Balanced Excellence dues, you will receive tickets to one night of each scheduled theatrical performance for your immediate family members.

Balanced Excellence

The Balanced Excellence program is a cooperative effort of the Parents’ Association, Fine Arts Alliance and Booster Club. Each year, funds raised through Balanced Excellence dues are divided equally between these organizations in order to support the entire spectrum of academic and extracurricular activities offered at Holy Innocents’.  By paying $150 in dues, you help to improve the quality and caliber of our athletic and fine arts facilities, as well as a wide variety of academic programs. In return, your benefits include free admission for your family to home varsity football games, all theatrical performances and Spring Picnic and Carnival. Please take a moment to write a check for your family’s dues, payable to HIES Parents’ Association, and mail to:
