Effective immediately, students who have been identified as a close contact of a confirmed COVID-19 positive case will be required to quarantine and learn remotely. A COVID-19 PCR test can be conducted on or after Day 5 of the quarantine period. If the PCR test result is negative, symptom-free students can return to on-campus learning and activities after Day 7.
In keeping with our standard sick policies, students who have received a negative result through a COVID-19 PCR test but who are experiencing symptoms should not return to campus until they are symptom-free for at least 48 hours without the use of over-the-counter medications.
Fully vaccinated individuals should contact their division nurse and provide a copy of their vaccination card showing the dates of vaccination. The division nurses will determine if the vaccination dates satisfy the recommended guidelines for immunity, based on current CDC recommendations.
