The week of Sunday, Feb. 4, was Episcopal Schools Celebration Week, a time set aside each year in the Episcopal community to celebrate the 1,200 Episcopal schools across the world. HIES was founded in 1959 by Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church, and our students got to learn more about the history of this special relationship from The Rev. Dr. Bill Murray, Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church Rector, throughout the week. Students also enjoyed a special photo exhibit in the Humanities Gallery and a day of dressing in their favorite liturgical colors! We are grateful for this week to remember and honor our Episcopal identity.
