Holy Innocents' Episcopal School was honored to host the inaugural Winter Chorus Festival on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church! More than 70 fourth- and fifth-grade singers from HIES, St. Benedict's Episcopal School and St. Martin's Episcopal School spent the day learning challenging new pieces under the expert guidance of guest clinician Rick McKee, culminating in a lovely concert for their families. It was a fun and meaningful day filled with collaboration and growth as we celebrated our shared love for music and Episcopal values.
Join us in extending a big HI-Five to the Fifth-Grade Chorus and Alexis Lundy, Lower School music teacher, for organizing this special event. Thank you to the following students and faculty for offering their support and talents: John Alvarado (music faculty member, pianist), Zack Wright (Upper School and Middle School chorus director, pianist), Sam Gallant '28 (flutist) and Katherine Lamback '25 (cellist).
