On Saturday, Oct. 26, HIES families, faculty and staff participated in the 2024 Breakthrough T1D Walk to support advocacy and research for Type 1 diabetes. As a longtime partner of Breakthrough T1D, previously known as JDRF, HIES students are supporting Type 1 advocacy all year through our Paws 4 A Cause service learning program.
