Our Primary School students have been learning all about life and culture in Peru during their current Global Education Explorers unit on South America. On Monday, Feb. 23, they were visited by some special guests to help bring their learning to life: two llamas named Pie and Quinn! Students got to hug, pet and feed the llamas while learning more about their diet, their preferred climates and how their coats are often used to produce yarn and blankets. The Explorers wrapped up their unit by exploring Peru on the Immersive Screen!
