Lower School Students Enjoy Interactive Science Field Trips

Two groups of Lower School students went on exciting science field trips this week, experiencing their classroom lessons in a whole new way. The fourth-grade class visited Truist Park for Science Day, where they enjoyed interactive STEM games and demonstrations by Michael Green, aka "The Science Machine." Later in the day, they enjoyed catching some of the Braves game against the Oakland A's! Meanwhile, the third-grade class headed up to Lookout Mountain, GA, for a trip to Rock City. A fun way to conclude their study of rocks and minerals, the students had a great time climbing, hiking and spelunking, taking in views of rock formations, caverns and panoramic vistas.
