On Monday, Oct. 6, our Middle School students experienced the music, history and excitement of flamenco as part of Hispanic Heritage Month! The performers demonstrated several distinctive flamenco styles and rhythms, teaching students some of the key moves along the way. The highlight of the event came when students joined the performers onstage to show off their new steps. Many thanks to the incredible musicians and dancers from Berdolé, including HIES parent Lisa Herman, for bringing their talent and passion to the Middle School!
