The HIES Office of Multicultural Affairs (MCA) held the fourth-annual Primary School “Art in the Park” event on Wednesday, Oct. 9. It was a joyful celebration of art, food and community. In line with this year’s MCA theme, “Embracing the Golden Bear Community: I am because we are. Every voice matters,” families collaborated on hands-on art projects, including a special community piece that highlighted the beauty of shared voices and traditions. Guests also enjoyed delicious flavors from around the world. The evening was a lovely showcase of how our Golden Bear community shines brightest when we come together!
