The standard Admission Application Season for the 2025-2026 academic year will open in Ravenna on October 1st.

Admission event registration is open in Ravenna.

We invite you to create an account in Ravenna for your student. Once you have done so, you will see Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School listed in the directory of schools in the Atlanta area. After clicking on our school, you will have the option to "Explore." We will then have your contact information readily available and you will begin receiving communication from our office. There is no additional commitment required in creating an account with Ravenna.

Sept. 1, 2024: Application for Financial Assistance (optional) opens. - We offer an application for financial assistance through a third party program, Clarity. Clarity opens for applications on Sept. 1, 2024.

Oct. 1, 2024: Admission Application in Ravenna opens.

Nov. 16, 2024: All-School Open House

Dec. 10, 2024: Christmas Coffee & Conversation

January and February 2025 (Multiple Dates): Primary, Lower, Middle & Upper School Admission Evaluations~ in-person and on campus

Feb. 1, 2025: Application Due (Shared Applicant Information Form + fee)

Feb. 1, 2025: All families interested in receiving financial assistance must submit an application. Feb. 15, 2025: Supplemental Materials Due (Parent Questionnaire, Student Questionnaire, Teacher Evaluation Form(s), Transcript, etc.)

April 5, 2025: Admission Decision Notification Day

April 17, 2025: Family Response Deadline (signed contract and deposit due)

August 2025: School year begins

Upon submission of the Shared Applicant Information Form in Ravenna, you will be able to keep track of your progress using the checklist that will appear on the upper righthand corner of your screen. A green checkmark indicates we have received the document.

Pre-K3 & Pre-K4

Age Requirements:

Child must turn 3 years old before Sept. 1, 2025 to apply to Pre-K3.
Child must turn 4 years old before Sept. 1, 2025 to apply to Pre-K4.

K-Prep

Kindergarten-Prep (K-Prep) is a unique grade offering at HIES designed for academically strong students who would benefit from additional foundations for social and emotional growth to develop all the competencies needed for solid success in Kindergarten and beyond. Ideal students for K-Prep are those with late spring or summer birthdays as well as students seeking to build on their academic readiness, their stamina and social and emotional confidence at a more deliberate pace of acceleration in a smaller group setting. The K-Prep curriculum is not a repeat of PK4 milestones and differs from the traditional Kindergarten curriculum in intentional and specific ways. Students matriculate to Kindergarten after completing this year of K-Prep.

AAAIS Additional Teacher Evaluation Form: Submit by Feb. 15, 2025. *This form is to be submitted IF your child has the same teacher for both Math and English/Language arts this year. It should be completed by any other academic teacher, including the applicant’s lead teacher from the previous school year.
AAAIS Common Principal/Counselor Evaluation Form: Submit by Feb. 15, 2025. After Dec. 1, 2024 please delegate the form to your child’s principal/counselor through Ravenna.
Report Card/Transcript: Submit by Feb. 15, 2025.

SSAT Testing Results: The SSAT code for Holy Innocents’ is 3970.
*The FINAL admissible SSAT testing date is February 2, 2025. National SSAT testing dates are offered each month. * Please schedule your child’s test accordingly.
