The standard Admission Application for the 2025-2026 academic year is open in Ravenna.

We invite you to create an account in Ravenna for your student. Once you have done so, you will see Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School listed in the directory of schools in the Atlanta area. After clicking on our school, you will have the option to "Explore." We will then have your contact information readily available and you will begin receiving communication from our office. There is no additional commitment required in creating an account with Ravenna.

Below you will find grade-specific application checklists. Upon submission of the Shared Applicant Information Form in Ravenna, you will be able to keep track of your progress using the checklist that will appear on the upper righthand corner of your screen. A green checkmark indicates we have received the document.

Pre-K3 & Pre-K4

Age Requirements:

Child must turn 3 years old before Sept. 1, 2025 to apply to Pre-K3.
Child must turn 4 years old before Sept. 1, 2025 to apply to Pre-K4.

Feb. 1, 2025: All families interested in receiving financial assistance must submit an application. This application is due Feb. 1, 2025. Holy Innocents' uses the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts. K-Prep

Kindergarten-Prep (K-Prep) is a unique grade offering at HIES designed for academically strong students who would benefit from additional foundations for social and emotional growth to develop all the competencies needed for solid success in Kindergarten and beyond. Ideal students for K-Prep are those with late spring or summer birthdays as well as students seeking to build on their academic readiness, their stamina and social and emotional confidence at a more deliberate pace of acceleration in a smaller group setting. The K-Prep curriculum is not a repeat of PK4 milestones and differs from the traditional Kindergarten curriculum in intentional and specific ways. Students matriculate to Kindergarten after completing this year of K-Prep.

AAAIS Additional Teacher Evaluation Form: Submit by Feb. 15, 2025. *This form is to be submitted IF your child has the same teacher for both Math and English/Language arts this year. It should be completed by any other academic teacher, including the applicant’s lead teacher from the previous school year.
AAAIS Common Principal/Counselor Evaluation Form: Submit by Feb. 15, 2025. After Dec. 1, 2024 please delegate the form to your child’s principal/counselor through Ravenna.
Report Card/Transcript: Submit by Feb. 15, 2025.

SSAT Testing Results: The SSAT code for Holy Innocents’ is 3970.
*The FINAL admissible SSAT testing date is February 2, 2025. National SSAT testing dates are offered each month. * Please schedule your child’s test accordingly.

Relocating & International Families

We are thrilled you are considering Holy Innocents' as your family's next educational home!

Out-of-town Families

Relocating is both an exciting and daunting time, and we want to ensure that we don't add any undo stress! We understand that your family may have scheduling constraints that fall outside of our existing admission event schedule. Please reach out to Claire Benedict (Pre-K3 - 5th) or Ripken Gorman (6 - 12th) to plan your family's campus visit. We are happy to make arrangements so that you and your child(ren) don't miss out on experiencing all that we have to offer!

International Relocation Families

We require any international student interested in attending Holy Innocents' to reside locally with a parent, stepparent, or legal guardian. We do not offering boarding, or host family stays and we are not affiliated with any international student programs that facilitate the admission process.

Once a student has been admitted we will initiate the 1-20 process.
