  • With 59 athletic teams, 21 team state championships and 73 individual state championships to date, and over 120 collegiate athletes, Holy Innocents' has built a rich history of athletic success. Join Tony Watkins, Athletic Director, for a comprehensive look at athletic excellence at Holy Innocents’ and learn about how HIES prepares our student-athletes for the road to collegiate athletics.   • Join us virtually to learn more about Global Education, Travel Programs, our Round Square Network affiliation and Global Scholars in Residence. Erik Vincent, PK-12th grade Director of Global Education, will shed light on this thriving mission and how we are equipping students of all ages with the knowledge, dispositions and skills to act ethically and creatively in our world.

  • At Holy Innocents’, students of all ages will be given every opportunity to fully tap into their creative potential through our exciting programs in music, theatre, media literacy and the visual arts. From orchestra to broadcasting, technical theatre to directing and writing your own film, and even exploring the intersections of computer science and art, you will discover the artist in you! Join Heidi Domescik, Director of Fine Arts, for a comprehensive overview of Fine Arts education at HIES, from Primary School to college.

  • In its inaugural year, the PEAK Institute at HIES guides student exploration of emerging interests and passions through experiential learning, project work, and broader career discovery supported by a network of mentors and professionals. Join our PEAK Institute and College Counseling Directors as they shed light on this unique Upper School program that allows our students a directed independent study and deep dive in a subject area or personal passion.

Division-specific campus tours are offered multiple times each month. You are invited to join our Admission staff for a tour of the division to which you are applying your child. You will see teaching in action, view a variety of classrooms, studio and lab spaces, and much more! Those touring the Upper School will hear from Golden Bear Guides (select 10 - 12th grade student ambassadors) about their personal experiences at HIES! Register in Ravenna.

 *All 9 - 12th grade applicants are invited to attend campus tours with their parents. 

There is no better way for your student (rising 2nd - 8th grades) to experience what it's like to be an HIES student than by shadowing a current student and spending time in our classes, attending lunch and exploring campus. Register your child in Ravenna today!

Student Visit Days for 9 - 12th grade applicants are reserved for those who have submitted their admission application and this visit is incorporated into their required Admission Evaluation in January and February.

Parents and children are invited to our all-school Open House on Saturday, December 2nd. This is the perfect opportunity to interact and engage with HIES faculty and students in actual classroom activities and projects. You will have the opportunity to tour the campus, get a taste of the academic experience, hear from our administrators and learn first-hand how Holy Innocents' has gained its reputation as one of the finest independent schools in the Southeast. 
 
All divisions – Primary, Lower, Middle and Upper Schools – will participate in the day's events. Administrators, faculty, coaches, fine arts teachers, grade-level deans, chaplains, admission representatives, as well as officers of the Parents' Association, Athletic Association, and Fine Arts Alliance, will all be on hand to discuss the many different programs and opportunities your family will enjoy at HIES. Register in Ravenna.
