We know that for most families, investing in an independent school education requires thoughtful financial planning. We are committed to supporting and guiding our families through this process through a series of tuition payment options and an opportunity to apply for need-based financial assistance. As you'll discover when you get to know our community, families find great value in an HIES education. Tuition Payment Options

PAYMENT OPTIONS FOR THE 2024-25 ACADEMIC YEAR

Annual Payment Plan: 10% down payment upon signing Enrollment Agreement, remaining balance is due June 1, 2024.

Semiannual Payment Plan: 10% down payment upon signing Enrollment Agreement, remaining balance due in two equal installments by June 1, 2024, and by Nov. 1, 2024.

Monthly Payment Plan: 10% down payment upon signing Enrollment Agreement, remaining balance split across 9 equal monthly payments commencing May 2024, concluding Jan. 2025.

Important note: Tuition payments are made directly to Blackbaud Tuition Management. All payment options are offered interest-free, and there is no fee to enroll in either the annual or semiannual payment plan options. A one-time plan enrollment fee of $100 fee applies to the monthly payment plan option. Late payments are assessed a $90 per month fee. Payments made by credit or debit card are assessed a 3.12% convenience fee. Electronic bank payments such as direct debit incur no payment convenience fee. A fee of $30.00 will be applied to your account for any failed auto-debit and failed check payments. Your bank may impose additional fees. Please review Blackbaud Tuition Management's terms and conditions within the Enrollment Agreement for additional details. Optional Fees

An optional Tuition Refund Plan (TRP) may be purchased for an amount equal to one percent of the tuition for the school year. This Plan provides an opportunity to insure tuition (prepaid and due) in the event of absence or separation. Click here for more information on TRP.

An optional Student Accident Plan provides for certain levels of reimbursement for medical expenses as described in the Student Accident Plan brochure. Click here for more information.

HIES is committed to supporting all of our students from enrollment to graduation. We offer an application for financial assistance through a third party program, Clarity.

Current HIES families seeking financial assistance, whether or not you have received it previously, are welcome to apply. The deadline for completing the financial assistance application including relevant supplemental documents is December 1, 2024. You are welcome to begin the application process for financial assistance beginning Sept. 1, 2024, here.

Financial Assistance is designed to make a Holy Innocents' education possible for all families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds. Holy Innocents' is proud to use the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts. Each parent, regardless of custodial arrangements, must submit tax documents and an application. Exceptions to this policy can be made in certain situations. Click here for a Non-Custodial Parent Waiver form.

Please remember to return to your dashboard after you complete and submit your Clarity Application, as you may be required to submit additional tax information. All families receiving income from an S-Corp or Partnership must furnish a copy of all K-1s. All parents who hold at least a 25% share in an S-Corp, Partnership, or Farm must provide a copy of their business tax return, including all schedules.

If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available as well as email support at support@claritytuition.com in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.

Financial Assistance Application Deadlines:

Regular Notification Pre-K3, Regular Notification Pre-K4, and all K-Prep - 12th grade applicants: February 1, 2025.
Early Notification Pre-K3 and Early Notification Pre-K4 applicants: December 15, 2024.

To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $55 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools. The 2024-25 Family Application Guide will walk you step-by-step through the Clarity application.
