Parent Organizations
Holy Innocents' Episcopal School enjoys the support of three vibrant parent organizations, the Parents' Association, the Fine Arts Alliance, and Bears Athletic Club. Staffed entirely by parent volunteers, the organizations host an array of events throughout the school year, including fundraisers, celebrations, parenting workshops, and community service opportunities. Together, these groups support the school's faculty, staff, and administration and raise funds to continuously improve the quality and caliber of our academic, fine arts, and athletic facilities and programs.
Parent involvement is critical to the success and development of any school. HIES is fortunate to enjoy the dedication and hard work of so many active and involved parents.
Parents of all current HIES students are members of the HIES Parents’ Association (PA). The PA's events, programs and operations are run by more than 80 parent volunteers who serve as officers and chairs. Hundreds of parent volunteers sign up to help with various activities from time to time.
The PA is organized around three key areas: Fundraising events, Community Life programs, and Division- and Grade-Level Representatives.
The Fine Arts Alliance (FAA), established in 2003, is dedicated to promoting and enhancing all Holy Innocents’ fine arts programs including chorus, band, orchestra, theatre, visual arts, and media literacy programs.
The Bears Athletic Club (BAC)
supports all HIES teams and the Athletic Department by raising funds, organizing events and delivering resources that exceed the limitations of their standard budgets and capabilities.

The EXCELLENCE Campaign 2024-2025
The EXCELLENCE Campaign is a cooperative effort between the Parents' Association, the Fine Arts Alliance, and Bears Athletic Club (the HIES Athletic Association that supports all school sports teams) to support all three areas of our students’ development at HIES. Funds raised through donations to the EXCELLENCE Campaign are divided equally among these organizations to support a wide spectrum of academic, athletic, and fine arts programming offered across all divisions.
Donations to the EXCELLENCE Campaign have helped provide Primary School playground equipment, campus enhancements such as refinishing the gym floor and a state-of-the-art security system, iPads for Lower School students, funds for educational speakers and Upper School student retreats, uniforms for athletics, a unique partnership with the High Museum, private voice lessons for Middle and Upper School students and much more.
Your donation to EXCELLENCE can be made here now or through your grade’s one-time payment form available August 1. Get Involved Today! Parent Support is Critical to Our Success.
