The Fine Arts Alliance funds HIES’s  ongoing academic partnership with the High Museum of Art. This partnership allows HIES students and faculty to enjoy behind-the-scenes access to exhibitions, curators and educational staff and museum spaces during the school year. In addition, free entrance for field trips, professional development opportunities, discounted memberships for HIES families, student internship opportunities, donated catalogs of all exhibitions and an opportunity to host an annual exhibition of student artwork at the High.

 The FAA rents the Springs Cinema Theatre and Tap House for a red-carpet Oscar Style Film Festival every year. The venue allows filmmakers to see their ideas come to life on the silver screen of a true movie theater.  The Festival also presents a red carpet hosted by the HIES Broadcast program.

 FAA funding provides the annual use Byers Theatre in the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center for the HIES Kaleidoscope Concert. The event brings a premium concert hall experience to our Upper School HIES band, chorus and orchestra members and their audience. Here our musicians enjoy professional light and sound systems, top-notch acoustics, and most important, a stage to performances by combined  of programs. The Kaleidoscope Concert also includes a student art exhibition in the lobby."
