Come Volunteer With Us

Dear HIES Parents,

You are invited to get involved with your PA! We have lots of opportunities for parents to volunteer to help in the PA, and we hope you'll join us! Check out all the ways you can volunteer. If you don't find something that interests you or that fits your schedule, sign up on the General Volunteers section at the bottom of the list below, and our PA Secretary and Volunteer Coordinator Lori Hoffman will be in touch with you!

We hope you'll come volunteer with us!

Bear WearHouse:  The Bear WearHouse sells gently used, donated school uniforms to HIES families. Volunteers are needed to assist with the operating hours of the shop. Shifts are typically about 2 1/2 hours.
To sign up to help during regular operating hours during the school year (7:30am -10 am on Wednesdays), contact Wendy Mattson or Robin Finley.

Caring Bears:  The goal of Caring Bears is to confidentially care for our HIES families by providing a needed meal during times of crisis/illiness in the immediate family of a student or faculty member. Committee members may either 1) make meals to be frozen for future delivery or 2) drive to deliver meals throughout the school year as needed.  Work as much or as little as you are able.  This is one of our most rewarding opportunities. To offer your help with the Caring Bears team, contact Donna Toledo.

HICAP (Holy Innocents' Cultural Affinity Partners):
HICAP plans events to promote unity, diversity, and awareness to help educate, advocate for and to further unify the HIES community. Meetings and fun events will be held throughout the year. Click here to sign up to help with the work of HICAP.
Parents’ Prayer Group:  A group of HIES parents who gather for a time of community prayer for our children, our faculty and staff, and the entire Holy Innocents’ community. Our time together is an informal time to lift up thanksgiving and needs to the Lord together, asking His blessings on our community.  Contact Laura Little or 404-623-1443.  Meetings are held monthly in Christ Chapel of HIEC, ususally on the second Tuesday of each month (but check the HIES online calendar for specific dates) from 8:15-9:15am. Click here for more information.
