2023-2024 Illness Policy

Illness/Seasonal Allergy Symptoms

Students must stay home if experiencing:

Temperature of 100°F or greater
Persistent cough that may be disruptive in the classroom
Copious nasal drainage
Feeling sick/general malaise

Prior to returning to school:

Student must be fever-free without medication for 24 hours
Symptoms must be improving

Vomiting/Diarrhea

Students experiencing vomiting or diarrhea must stay home for a minimum of 24 hours.
Prior to returning to school, the student must be vomiting/diarrhea-free without medication for 24 hours.

Please email illness details and updates, doctors' notes and COVID-19 test results to your division nurse.
