Admissions

Affording HIES

HIES is committed to welcoming all qualified students regardless of ability to pay tuition.

  • In 2018, we distributed $3.2M to 15 percent of our families to bridge the gap between what a family can afford and the cost of tuition.
  • Applying for tuition assistance does not impact a student's application for admission to the School.
  • HIES offers need-based tuition assistance to families as determined by review of a completed application for tuition assistance.
  • The amount of tuition assistance is determined by the Financial Aid Committee of HIES and the funds available. Each family who receives any tuition assistance should expect to pay some tuition, as there are no full tuition grants.
  • Please see the financial aid FAQ for further questions.
