    About the Character Skills Snapshot:
    • Character and personal growth are an integral part of a Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School education. While a child’s character has always been important to our admission process, we have not had a tool that we could use to measure the character skills your child is developing. Grades and test scores just do not tell us the whole story of your child.
    • The Character Skills Snapshot provides a ‘snapshot’ of more holistic information about your child and illuminates areas where HIES can enrich your child’s growth and ability to thrive and flourish. We care about your children and how they grow, not only in their cognitive skills, but also as good citizens with integrity, resilience, and curiosity—those skills that will carry them forward into a successful life at HIES, in college and beyond.
    • The Character Skills Snapshot is a 20-30 minute online assessment to be completed in one sitting. It can be taken at home or any location with an internet connection (no mobile devices). For testers registered to take the SSAT it is free of charge.
