Theatre Arts

Theatre Arts are a huge part of the Holy Innocents’ experience, from Primary School all the way through Upper School.

All kindergartners participate in the annual Nativity play. Lower School boasts a dedicated full-time theatre class enjoyed by every first through fifth grader. The entire school community looks forward to the annual large and lively fifth-grade musical.

All students continue to take theatre as part of the Middle School curriculum during the day, where they explore solo and duo performance. Theatre is offered as a year-long elective in the Upper school with courses like One Act Plays and Theatre Production and Technique.

Powerful, high-quality after-school plays are offered for the more serious thespian, including a large Middle School/Upper School musical, a Middle School play, and a Spring Upper School production.
