You Make the Difference
There is no Holy Innocents' Episcopal School without you. We are so grateful for your support – our parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff, friends, foundations, and corporations.

Like other independent schools, not all of our school's operating budget is covered by tuition. Therefore, it is your gifts that help close the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating each student.

Your gift impacts every aspect of an HIES education – our academic, arts, and athletic programs; our technology offerings; our extracurricular opportunities; our campus and facilities; and more.

Your gift makes a difference – in the life of our school, and in the life of every HIES student. Thank you for your support.

How to Prioritize Your Giving

Our Giving Programs

List of 6 items.

  • Annual Fund

The Annual Fund provides valuable operating support to the school by supplementing tuition and endowment revenue. Tuition supports approximately 87 percent of the school’s actual annual operating costs. The Annual Fund helps make up the difference to provide our students with the academic, arts and athletic resources they need for a quality learning experience. Please click the Annual Fund tab at the top of this page to learn more.
  • Endowment Support

A percentage of endowment income is combined with tuition revenue and Annual Fund gifts to run the school on a day-to-day basis. A strong endowment produces greater income for operating support, thereby providing improved facilities and equipment, the establishment of new programs and curriculum, and an increased financial aid funding.

A strong endowment is essential to a strong academic program. While some endowment funds are restricted for particular purposes such as financial aid, general endowment funds assist the overall operating budget. A percentage of endowment income is combined with tuition revenue and Annual Fund gifts to operate the school on a day-to-day basis.
