Aqua Bears Have Good Showing in Gainesville

The Aqua Bears took to the road Wednesday afternoon; Coach Carmen Kissack & Company competed at Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville.

Many shone, though the main highlights included sophomore Maddie Poch, who captured first in the 100-fly, and senior Olivia Martin, who took second in the 100-breast.

Several more bettered their times – Elijah Carswell upped his marks in both the 50- and the 100-free; Cian Leonard and Andrew Keller improved in the 100-breast; and John Trinh swam his best in the 100-back.

Looking ahead, the swimmers will return to action Tuesday when they go to Lovett.
